Brake Hose/Line: Service and Repair
Brake Pipe Hydraulic Unit / Junction / Front Wheel, Replacing

Replacing the brake pipe between the hydraulic unit, front wheel and junction 

Preparation

Disconnect the battery lead

Preparations when replacing brake pipes (applies to all brake pipes)

Switch off the ignition. Collect the brake fluid

Remove the air cleaner (ACL) housing

See Brake pipe master cylinder / ABS unit, replacing See: Brake Pipe Master Cylinder / ABS Unit, Replacing 

Remove the integrated relay / fusebox. Remove the connector for the ABS unit 

Remove:

-

the screw for the bracket for the integrated relay / fuse box. Lift it up and put to one side. Tie it up using an electric cable

-

the connector for the ABS control module.

Replacing the front left brake pipe

Clean around the brake pipe on the ABS hydraulic modulator. Remove the brake pipe from the ABS hydraulic modulator and the clips
