The auto rear defroster program setting in the ICM (Infotainment Control Module) menu may not hold programmed value after the car has gone into
sleep mode The root cause is a bug in the CCM (Climate Control Module) software that was introduced during 2007W46 (apx. November 6, 2007)

Download CCM upgrade
NOTE:
After the CCM Software download, the default value for Auto defrost in the ICM menu is as follows:
S80 - ON
V70, XC70 - OFF
If "Auto rear defroster" is selected, the rear window electrical defroster will automatically turn on if the ambient temperature is below 48 degrees F when
the engine is started.
