Removal

Remove the following items:

-

the steering wheel. Refer to: Steering wheel See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Wheel/Service and Repair.

the panel. Refer to: Panel steering column See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Column/Steering Column Cover/Service and Repair.

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure

Reset the contact reel. Refer to: Contact reel, adjusting See: Adjustments.

Carry out an inspection.  Refer to: Supplementary restraint system (SRS), inspection See: Testing and Inspection.
