Customers may complain about a knocking noise from the rear suspension while driving on uneven roads in slow speeds around 5-50 km/h (3-31 MPH),
and sometimes when driving over a speed bump.

SERVICE:
First, carry out basic analysis to understand where the noise is coming from. If possible, use the Chassis Ears toolkit.
If the Chassis Ear toolkit is not available, check the complete rear suspension (nut and screw torque, bushings, etc).
Check anti-roll (sway) bar links as per TJ 13854.
Check that there are no oil leaks from rear shock absorbers.
If the noise is coming from the rear springs, install the rubber isolators to add extra isolation between the body and the springs.
