Checking the Transformer for the DVD Unit

Checking the transformer for the DVD unit

Checking the fuses and the power supply

Check that the fuses for the DVD unit are intact and that there is power supply to the fusebox.
The voltage must be approximately 12 V.
The fuses are positioned under the rear center armrest.
Check that connector Q (see position 10) is connected to the cable from the fuse box.
Check that connector P (see position 9) is connected to the cable from the DVD unit.
Check the supply voltage to the transformer between terminals #Q1 and #Q2. See position 10.
The voltage must be approximately 12 V.
Check the supply voltage to the DVD unit between terminals #P1 and #P2. See position 9.
The voltage must be approximately 9 V.
Remedy as necessary.
