the essential information in the illustrations is always correct.
Disconnect the battery lead.
See Battery, disconnecting See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures/Battery, Disconnecting
For the seat belt tensioner, see Handling non-deployed SRS-components See: Service and Repair/Discarding Pyrotechnic Components
Caution! Under no circumstances use an ohmmeter or other live measuring instrument to take readings on a disconnected non-deployed seat
belt tensioner. This could deploy it.
Caution! Always replace the seat belt (inertia) reels with the seat belt tensioners and seat belt buckles after a collision. Always replace the seat
belts, seat belt tensioners and seat belt buckles when an airbag has deployed. In the event of a collision where the airbag did not deploy the seat
belt tensioners must be checked and replaced if necessary.
Caution! Seat belt tensioners must never be unscrewed, repaired or moved to another vehicle.
