Note! Before removing the battery cables on the solenoid make a note of the angle and position of the cables on the solenoid.
Remove:

The nut (1).
-
The battery cable (2) and the alternator cable (3) from the starter motor.
Loosen the screw a few turns so that the clamp can move freely.
