Note! Do not insert the screwdriver between the sealing ring and needle bearing.
Sealing ring 47mm (late version)
Position the screwdriver under the seal lip. Pry out the seal.
Note! Check that no dirt gets into the needle bearing.
Installing the sealing ring
Lubricate the sealing ring lip. Use wheel bearing grease, P/N 116 1241-3
Note! The drift has 2 sides.
The end of the locating pin without holes is for the 42 mm diameter early version sealing ring. See the illustration.
