Windscreen removal
Open bonnet.
Remove the windscreen wipers.
Loosen the plenum covering as described in Cowl, replacing See: Body and Frame/Cowl/Cowl Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair and pull it forwards
in the carriage.
Remove the strips along the A pillars and the roof as described in Weatherstrips and trim strips See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and
Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Weatherstrip/Service and Repair/Weatherstrips and Trim Strips.
Remove:
-
the roof sealing strip.

the guide strip on the lower edge.

A pillar panels as described in Panel, A-post, replacing See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Panel,
A-Post, Replacing
Note! Be careful not to damage the paint. Tape the A pillars with masking tape.
