Remove:

the panel around the gear selector lever
-
the screw in the mounting for the front center tunnel console.
Separate the center consoles by lifting both the consoles and pulling the rear console backwards.
Lift up the arm rest / cover.
Remove:
-
the fax (certain models only). See Replacing the fax and DVD
-
the 4 screws
-
the cover plate
-
the car-phone module. Pull the module straight up and place it to one side.
