Sunroof / Moonroof Weatherstrip: Service and Repair
Weatherstrips
Replacing side weatherstrip
Remove:
-
the sun roof assembly according to Sun roof, replacing See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Sun Roof, Replacing
-
weatherstrip.
Install:
In reverse order.
Locate as illustrated.
Check for leakage according to Sun roof, leak test See: Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics.
Replacing front seal
Remove:
-
the sun roof according to Sun roof, replacing See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Sun Roof, Replacing
-
the trim.
Pull off roof trim. It may be securely attached.
Install:
In reverse order.
Hint: Clean thoroughly!
Ensure that all adhesive residue and dirt is removed.
Check for leakage according to Sun roof, leak test See: Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics.
