Press out the wheel spindle. At the same time pull the drive shaft from the transmission.
Hang the drive shaft from a hook 999 5045 COMPRESSION HOOK See: Tools and Equipment/999 5045 Compression Hook.
Note! Take care not to damage the drive shaft boot.

the nut on the ball joint. Use a Torx wrench as counterhold

wheel spindle.
Installing the wheel spindle
Install

the wheel spindle on the trailing arm

a new nut on the ball joint. Tighten. See: Tightening torque See: Steering/Specifications/Mechanical Specifications/Tightening Torque. Use a
Torx wrench as a counterhold.
Note! Make sure that the mating surfaces on the ball joint and link are clean.
