Make a note of the measurement.
5. Remove lower steering shaft from steering gear.

On the lower joint:
Remove locking pins.
Undo upper screw.
Remove lower screw.
Push the joint up the steering shaft.
6. Remove the tie rods.

Use puller 999 5259 to release the tie rods from steering arms.
7. Remove hoses from steering gear.

Plug holes in the steering gear.
-
Position a container underneath the steering dear.
