Control Arm: Service Precautions

Clean all contact surfaces in the joint, mechanically first and then use a solvent to get rid of grease.

If necessary, replace screws and nuts for torque tightened joints.
NOTE: Always replace self-locking nuts with new ones.

If re-using screws and nuts; clean and oil them.
NOTE: Always replace screws, or screws and nuts in torque/protractor-tightened joints.

The tightening values given as a guide below must be followed to an accuracy of better than ±5%.
