The Central Electronic Module (CEM) must be removed first before the immobilizer can be accessed. See Replacing central electronic module (CEM)

Remove:

-

the driver's side soundproofing panel.

-

the control module. Use a screwdriver from the side.

-

the connector from the control module.

Installation

Note! Only new keys may be used. All original keys are invalid.

Install in reverse order.
The engine cannot be started if the control module has not been initialized.
Initialize the control module. Program the desired keys. See Immobilizer control module, initiating See: Testing and Inspection.
