Carry out a test-drive and check whether the ABS warning light goes out.
Read out and check whether there are any DTCs stored.

Rear wheel sensor, replacement

Preparations

The ignition must be switched off.
Remove the protective cap for the fuel filter (if working on the left).
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the sensor cable from the two supports

Removing wheel hub

Remove

-

the hub cap and the wheel.

-

the brake caliper and the brake disc, see operation  Replacement of rear brake disc See: Disc Brake System/Brake Rotor/Disc/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Replacement Of Rear Brake Disc.

-

the hub cap and the retaining nut.

-

the hub.

Removing the rear wheel sensor

Note! Carefully clean the sensor and the connector before they are removed.

Remove

-

the sensor cable from the support.

-

the mounting bolts and the sensor.
