Turn the crankshaft two revolutions. Check that the markings on the crankshaft pulley and timing belt pulley correspond with the markings on the
inner timing cover and the water pump

Check the adjustment of the timing belt tension (the indicator (A) in the center position)

Post-adjust if necessary, see Adjusting the timing belt tension
Note! Always turn the crankshaft two turns after adjustment.

Remove the upper timing cover.
