Blower Motor: Procedures

Fan Motor

Fan Motor 

Blower fan motor, removing 

Remove the fan (fan housing removed) 

-

Remove the lower cover on the passenger side, see Dashboard.

-

Cut 10 x 7 cm in the insulation panel and bend the panel.

-

Remove the three screws.

-

Disconnect the connector from the blower fan motor.

-

If there is an ultrasonic control module: place it to one side.

-

Pull the motor down and withdraw it (turn it 90 degrees).

Installation 

-

Install in reverse order.

-

Check the seals.

-

Install the insulation panel and secure it with tape.

Replacing the blower fan motor control module 

Replacing the blower fan motor control module on cars with air conditioning (A/C) 

Removal 

-

Remove the lower cover on the passenger side.

-

Disconnect the connector.

-

Remove the screw.

-

Remove the control module.

Installation 

-

In reverse order.

NOTE:  Check the seal.
