Rotate the idler pulley quickly. Listen for abnormal noises from the bearing.
When replacing: tighten the idler pulley. Tighten to 25 Nm.
Check that the reel mating surface with the belt is clean and smooth.

Removing the splash guards under the engine

Remove:

rear

the front.

Remove the timing belt at the lower edge
