Position the sensor module. Tighten the three screws to 10 Nm

Use the old screws! When using replacement screws, use a type approved for connection to ground

Install the connector. Secure it in position.
Caution! Do not damage the screw threads when installing the screws. Ensure that the screws are straight.
It is important that the sensor module is securely mounted onto the bodywork if it is to operate properly. Otherwise the sensor unit will register the
moment that the vehicle begins to slow down; not the moment of impact.
The electrical connection to ground is through the ground terminal which is fixed by one mounting screw. It is very important that the mounting screws
are in good contact with the bodywork.
