Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Replacing the engine speed (RPM) sensor
Remove
-
The air cleaner (ACL).
-
The engine cover.
Removing the engine speed (RPM) sensor from the engine
-
Clean the area around the sensor.

Remove the bolt. Lift out the sensor.
-
Release the cable guide. Remove the wiring for the engine speed (RPM) sensor.
-
Pull the cable upwards.
Removing the engine speed (RPM) sensor
