Lubricate the pump shaft.
Install the pulley.
Press the shaft on as far as possible. Use special tool 999 5444 PRESS TOOL See: Tools and Equipment/999 5444 Press Tool.
The outside of the pulley must be flush with the end of the shaft.
Install the pulley on the power steering pump. Use special tool 999 5576/USA 999 2615
Install the screw in the pump shaft.
Note! Use a screw with the correct thread.
Open the cock.
Install special tool 999 5628 Press tool See: Tools and Equipment/999 5628 Press Tool on:

applies to others: 999 5576 HYDRAULIC PUMP See: Tools and Equipment/999 5576 Hydraulic Pump.
Close the cock.
Lubricate the pump shaft. Press the pulley onto the shaft.
Install special tool 999 5628 Press tool See: Tools and Equipment/999 5628 Press Tool over:
applies only to USA: 951 2615 Hydraulic equip. See: Tools and Equipment/951 2615 Hydraulic Equip. compression tool
applies to others: 999 5576 HYDRAULIC PUMP See: Tools and Equipment/999 5576 Hydraulic Pump
and hook it behind the screw head.
Press the pulley onto the shaft until the outer edge is flush with the pump shaft.
Install the power steering pump
