Connect special tool 998 8695 TEST DEVICE See: Tools and Equipment/998 8695 Test Device to the steering wheel module connector.
This is so the car can be driven without the SRS on-board diagnostic (OBD) system storing a diagnostic trouble code (DTC).

If the ignition is switched on when neither special tool or steering wheel module are connected, an open-circuit diagnostic trouble code (DTC) will
be stored. (Diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) must be cleared.)
