Transmission Speed Sensor: Removal and Replacement
Replacing the speed sensor
Preparations
Ignition off.
Remove:

The air cleaner (ACL) housing assembly, see Replacing the air cleaner (ACL) See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine
Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement.

Cut the tie straps for the cable harness at the bracket for the connectors

The screws for the bracket for the connectors
Replacing the sensor
Clean thoroughly around the sensor.
Remove the sensor and separate the connector.
Install:

The new sensor with a new O-ring. Lubricate the O-ring with automatic transmission fluid.

Tighten the screw.
Torque: 5.5 Nm.
