Introduction
Warning! Follow applicable safety regulations for working with air conditioning systems.
Note! Read the instructions on slow and fast leaks.
Note! Always use new O-rings greased with AC compressor oil.
Note! Always plug pipes and connections when working with climate control systems.
Overview of pipes and hoses
A1: Hose/pipe between the compressor and evaporator
B1: Pipe between the evaporator and coupling
B2: Hose between the coupling and the refrigerant reservoir
C: Pipe between the refrigerant reservoir and the condenser
D: Hose between the condenser and compressor
Preparation
Note! O-rings must always be replaced when replacing pipes.
Note! Hold the pipe in place with your hand when removing and tightening to avoid damaging couplings and pipes.
Bleed the refrigerant from the system as per.
Oil O-rings with AC compressor oil
Disconnect the connections and seal the openings.
Clean all contact surfaces.
