Front Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair

Replacing the door handle

Removal

Removing the handle and the handle housing

-

Remove the lock instructions (A) on the pin. Use a file or a grinder

-

Support the mountings and at the same time carefully tap out the pin (B)
Note! Do not bend the corresponding parts when installing.

Tap out the pin (B) and remove the spring (C), with or without the bushing (D)

-

Twist the handle to remove it from the housing

-

Remove the damper rubber and the special nuts if necessary (E).
