Hood Hinge: Service and Repair
Hood hinge
Removing the hood hinge
Remove:
-
the cowl according to Plenum chamber See: Cowl/Cowl Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair.
Support the hood.
Remove:
-
the mounting screws
-
the screw and nut.
Installing hood hinges
Install:
-
the screw and nut
-
the mounting screws.
Tighten the screws and nuts. Tighten to 24 Nm.
Remove the support.
Install the cowl according to Plenum chamber See: Cowl/Cowl Moulding / Trim/Service and Repair.
Adjust the hood according to Adjusting the hood See: Adjustments.
