Roll up the cargo compartment cover on the roll (D).
Apply a large screwdriver between the catches and tighten the spring by turning it approximately 30 turns to the left, see illustration (E).
Hold it so that the roller does not roll up and position one end in the parcel shelf. Note the position of the cargo compartment cover end tab see
illustration (F).
Remove the screwdriver and press the roll into place on the other side of the parcel shelf (G).
Carefully check that the roll is securely fastened at both ends.
Always install a locking plate (H).
Check the function.
