Sun Visor: Removal and Replacement

Sun visor

Removing the sun visor

Remove:

-

the upper A-post panel according to  Upper A-post panel See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Upper A-Post Panel 

-

the connector for the vanity mirror in the A-post, if applicable

-

the screw

-

the sun visor. Carefully pull the cable out from the bodywork.

Removing the bracket for the sun visor

Remove the screw from the bracket.
Press the sides of the catches. Remove the bracket using a twisting movement.

Installing the bracket for the sun visor

Check the catches.
Press the bracket into place. Install the screw.

Installing the sun visor

Route the cable to the A-post. Connect the connector.

Install:

the sun visor

-

the screw

-

the upper A-post panel according to  Upper A-post panel See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Upper A-Post Panel.
