Flame sensor:
Remove:
-
fan shroud.
Remove the flame sensor.
Cut the cables to the flame sensor approximately 2 cm away from the flame sensor and strip the cables 4-5 mm.
Installation
Installing components
Connect the wiring to the components.
Reinstall the components.
Reinstall the heater in reverse order.
Final check
Test heater. Check heater function according to Test running the additional heater / parking heater See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and
Diagnostic Overview.
Check for leakage at both the coolant hoses and fuel lines.
Top up the coolant if necessary.
Check that no diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) have been stored during the repair work.
