Removing The Pipe Between The Evaporator And The Coupling On The Bulkhead 

NOTE:  Hold the pipe in place with your hand when removing and tightening to avoid damaging couplings and pipes.

-

Disconnect the connections and seal the openings.

-

Clean all contact surfaces.

-

Remove the coupling from the bulkhead.

-

Turn only the coupling, holding the pipe with an adjustable wrench (the nut is welded).

-

Remove the connector support from the bulkhead.

-

Carefully pull the pipe out of the clips and remove it.

Fitting The Pipe Between The Evaporator And The Coupling On The Bulkhead 

NOTE:  Always use new O-rings.

Fit: 

-

the pipe clips

-

the support for connectors

-

the O-rings

-

Fit the coupling on the bulkhead.

-

Tighten the coupling, holding the pipe with an adjustable wrench (the nut is welded).

-

Oil O-rings with AC compressor oil

-

Remove the seals.

-

Connect the pipe and tighten the bolts by hand.

Tighten: 

-

the bolt at the evaporator to 10 Nm.

-

the bolt at the coupling to 13 Nm.
