Open the hood.
Remove the engine cover, if applicable.
B4184SM/SJ:Remove the air intake hose.
DIESEL/B4184SM/SJ:Release the fusebox. Move the fusebox to one side.
Gasoline engines:Remove the preheating hose, if applicable.
Remove the mounting nuts for the heat deflector plate and remove the plate from the cowl panel.
Remove the heat deflector plate from the steering gear housing by removing the mounting screw (A) and then pulling the plate away from the steering
gear housing (clamps). Move the heat deflector plate as far as possible to the side.
Removing the pipe clamps on the return line
