Camshaft Position Sensor: Procedures

Replacing Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor 

Remove: 

-

relay cover bracket

-

connector camshaft position sensor from bracket.

Removing camshaft position (CMP) sensor 

-

Remove the protective sleeve out of the clamp and open the outer cable protection

-

Route the wiring out the protector

-

Clean surrounding around sensor

-

Remove bolt and move camshaft position (CMP) sensor by turning and take sensor out

-

Take cable out clamp.

NOTE:  Note the route of the cable and take it out of the clamp.
