Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Replacing engine speed (RPM) sensor

Remove

-

Air cleaner (ACL), Replacing the air cleaner (ACL) See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement 

-

Engine cover.

Removing engine speed (RPM) sensor from engine

-

Clean area around sensor

-

Remove bolt and lift out sensor

-

Release cable guide and remove engine speed (RPM) sensor wiring

-

Pull cable upwards.
