Replace the drive shaft bearing (removed shaft).
Clean the drive shaft and the splines. Slide the plastic ring 10 cm back on the shaft. Support the bearing and press the shaft out of the bearing.
Remove the plastic ring from the drive shaft.
Apply soap solution to the drive shaft. Install a new plastic ring on the drive shaft. Install the new bearing. Use drifts 999 5299 CRANKSHAFT

bearing must be pressed to one side so that the measurement between the edge of the bearing on the tripod side and the end of the drive shaft is 117±0.5
mm.
Install the steel ring if required.
Carefully pull the boot over the bearing. Position the clip in the groove and secure it. Slide the plastic ring on so that it is just free of the rubber.
