Windshield Washer Spray Nozzle: Adjustments

Front jet, adjustment 

Adjustment 

Adjust point where jet strikes windshield as per diagram.

Note this point on Windshield with a pen or piece of tape. Recommended dimensions are given below:
-

X1: 225 mm 

-

X2: 150 mm 

-

Adjust angle of jet wit a small screwdriver.

Hint:  Take care not to damage jets.

Check washer jet 

Remove washer jet 

If washer fluid leaks from jet the check valve must be checked before washer jet is replaced; see illustration.

Disconnect hoses to check valve. Blow clear check valve with compressed air (Note direction of arrow) and make sure it allows free flow from one
side.

Reinstall in reverse order.

NOTE:  Arrow must point in flow direction

Check if washer fluid leaks from nozzle. If washer fluid still leaks, check valve must be replaced.
