Mark the position of the control arm position on the mounting plate.

Remove the control arm mounting nut (A).

-

Remove the wiper motor 3 x mounting screws (B).

Installing the windshield wiper motor

Apply grease 1161037-5, on the inside of the rubber.

-

Install the wiper motor and tighten the mounting screw (3x).

-

Connect the connector.

Hint:  Activate the wiper motor once. Check that the motor stopped in the parked position.

-

Install the control arm according to the markings.

-

Tighten the nut to 20 Nm. Use a 20 mm U-wrench to secure the control arm when the nut is pulled out.

-

Check the wiper motor function by rotating it a number of times.

-

Press the drive mechanism ball into position using a large screwdriver and reinstall the motor with the mounting plate, 4 x mounting screws.

-

Install the cover.
