Remove the wiper mechanism. 

-

Remove the cover from the tailgate wiper. 

-

Remove the cover and the nut from the shaft.

-

Remove the blind cover plug.

-

Disconnect the wiper motor connector.

-

Remove the 2 mounting screws.

-

Remove the wiper motor assembly.

-

Remove the connector from the bracket.

-

Remove the wiper motor from the bracket (3 screws).

Installing the tailgate wiper motor 

NOTE:  Check the rear windshield rubber for damage. Apply petroleum jelly to the inside of the rubber.

Install the wiper motor on the bracket (3 mounting screws). Connect the connector.

-

Install the wiper motor. Tighten the 2 inner mounting screws.

-

Install the blind cover plug.

-

Install the nut and cover.

-

Connect the connector.

NOTE:  Switch on the ignition. Check that the wiper motor is in the parked position. Switch the rear windshield wiper on and off. Switch off the
ignition.
