Use pliers to slide the spring the rest of the way into the holder. Wrap a plastic tie-strap around the tool & spring to make sure the spring stays in
the tool during installation (tie-strap not shown in this drawing).

Position the spring in place. Depress the clutch pedal until the spring has shifted up to its correct position. Work the 2 lugs into their seats.
Depress the pedal completely and position the clutch pedal arm onto the end of the spring. Cut and remove the plastic tie-strap.
Release the clutch pedal approximately two-thirds and remove holder.
Check the clutch pedal function and re-install the interior panels.
