Take the ball holder, towing ball, washer, nut, locking bolt and cotter pin from the kit

Slide the ball holder into the square mounting for the towing ball. Slide until the holes in the ball holder and the square mounting are aligned

Slide the locking bolt into the hole

-

Lock the other side using the cotter pin

-

Position the ball in the hole on the ball holder

-

Install the washer and nut. Tighten to 244 Nm (180 lbf. ft.).

Storing the tow hitch, applies to cars without a spare wheel

Place the tow hitch and test the position

Clean the surfaces where the pieces of foam tape will be applied

-

Screw the screw fully into the polystyrene box.

Apply the pieces of foam tape from the kit. See the illustration.
