Blower motor passenger compartment

Preparatory work

Important information and removing components

Caution! Do not touch the fan motor's fan rotor. This is to avoid damage to the fan blades, which can cause imbalance in the fan rotor.

Note! Do not place the fan motor on the fan rotor.

Remove:

-

the instrument panel, according to Dashboard. See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and
Repair/Dashboard 

-

the air quality sensor (AQS)

-

the connector for the damper motor module (DMM) recirculation

-

the damper motor module (DMM) recirculation. See: Actuator recirculation See: Air Door/Air Door Actuator / Motor/Service and Repair/Actuator
Recirculation 

-

the 3 screws for the air distribution damper cover

-

the cover for the air distribution damper.
