Grommet, Supplement To Passenger Compartment Connector Socket MA 8688353

Rubber grommet, supplement to passenger compartment connector socket

NOTE:  This supplement applies to cars not already equipped with a rubber grommet in the cowl panel. Carry out work in the order below:

Applies to cars with 5 cylinder petrol engines

Carry out points 1-11 in Installation Instructions P/N 8688353

Take a screwdriver and pry away the rubber plate covering the hole in the cowl panel.

Locate the hole for the rubber grommet. Make a small cut in the insulation panel starting just above the hole, continue to the centre of the hole and
then straight down.
