Raise the vehicle. Disconnect the connector for the rear heated oxygen sensor (HO2S). Disconnect the cable harness from the front SIPS member.
Remove the rear heated oxygen sensor (HO2S). Use tool 999 5543 SOCKET NV-22 HO2S See: Tools and Equipment/999 5543 Socket NV-22 HO2S.
Installing the rear heated oxygen sensor (HO2S)
Install the rear floor hatch. Tighten. See: Tightening torque See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Specifications/Mechanical
Specifications/Tightening Torque. Connect the connector for the rear heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) and secure the cable harness in the front SIPS
member.
Lower the vehicle.
Finishing
Checks
Start the engine. Check the function of the engine. Check for leakage.
Erase Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
Reset adaptation.
