Removal
Remove:

battery negative lead. Refer to: See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures/Battery, Disconnecting

the headlight on the right side. Refer to: Headlamp bulb See: Lighting and Horns/Headlamp/Headlamp Bulb/Service and Repair/Headlamp Bulb

Draw up the fluid from the reservoir. 951 2859 Fluid evacuation equipment See: Tools and Equipment/951 2859 Fluid Evacuation Equipment
Remove the 2 connectors.
Warning! Be prepared to collect all escaping fluids.
Place an oil collection container under the pump.
Remove:
1. the hose from the pump's reservoir
2. the lead.
Caution! Make sure that all openings are sealed.
