Gearshift cable

Preparatory work

Removing the left-hand engine pad

Remove the left-hand engine pad. See: Engine support insulator left See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and
Accessories/Engine Mount/Service and Repair/Engine Support Insulator Left.

Removal

Removing the gear selector cables from the transmission

Lower the engine / transmission slightly.

Remove:

-

the ball joints. Use: 999 7077 Jimmy bar See: Tools and Equipment/999 7077 Jimmy Bar 

-

the sleeves for the gear selector cables from the transmission cable bracket.
