Push the carpet tabs to one side to access the hole in the cowl panel.

Insert a small screwdriver through the insulation panel out into the engine compartment panel to make a hole for the rubber grommet.

Take the rubber grommet from the kit and cut the top off the large rubber nipple.

Grease the rubber grommet using low temperature grease (P/N 1161417-9)

Insert the extension cable (from the kit) for the passenger compartment connector socket through the rubber grommet.

Insert the cable with the rubber grommet for the passenger compartment connector socket through the hole in the cowl panel to the passenger
compartment. Route all cable excess into the passenger compartment.
