Connect the white (W) two pin male connector on the adapter cable (2) to the white (W) two pin female connector that was disconnected from the
12V socket.

Connect the remaining white (W) two pin female connector on the adapter wiring (3) to the 12V socket.

Detach the green (GN) five pin female connector (6) from the Trailer Module (TRM). Plug it into the green (GN) five pin male connector (4,
illustration A) on the adapter cable.

Plug the adapter cable's green (GN) five pin female connector (5, illustration A) to the Trailer Module (TRM).

Applies to cars from CH 45000-, with Parking Assistance Module (PAM) without a tow hitch

Detach the green (GN) five pin connector (1) which is taped at the Parking Assistance Module (PAM) cable's rubber grommet.

Plug the green connector into the Accessory Electronic Module (AEM).

Fit the Accessory Electronic Module (AEM) in place and tighten the two screws.

Position the wiring inside the panel at the rear wing.

Refit the Parking Assistance Module (PAM), if the car is equipped with one. In addition, refit any detached cables.

Reinstall the lower floor support.

Reinstall the side panel using its clips.

Press the panel for the parcel shelf into place.

Reinstall the side cushion.

Fold the backrest back into place.

Fold the seat cushion back into place.

Reinstall the rubber strip in the boot lid opening.

Reinstall the sill panel.

Reinstall the upper floor supports if applicable.

Reinstall the cargo compartment carpet.
