Disconnect the connectors, x 2.

Installation

Installing the contact reel/Steering wheel module (SWM)

Install the contact reel/Steering wheel module (SWM).

Note! Check carefully that the catch engages in the top of the contact reel / steering wheel module (SWM).

Install the upper mounting using the 2 x M5 screws. Tighten. See: Tightening torque See: Body and Frame/Specifications.

Caution! The pins on the wiper and turn signal lamp switch are fragile. Press the wiper/turn signal lamp switch into the connectors carefully.
Check that the pins engage correctly in the connectors.

Install:

-

wiper / washer switch with the screws, x 2. Tighten

-

the turn signal lamp switch with the screws, x 2. Tighten

-

the connectors, x2

Reset the contact roller acc. to: Angle sensor, steering wheel, resetting See: Sensors and Switches/Sensors and Switches - Steering and
Suspension/Sensors and Switches - Steering/Steering Angle Sensor/Adjustments.
Install the steering wheel. See: Steering wheel See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Wheel/Service and Repair.
