Preparatory work

Removing components

Remove the air cleaner (ACL) module. See: Air filter module See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air
Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair.

Removal

Removing the starter motor

Lift the coolant hose out of the bracket. Slacken off the nuts for the coolant hose bracket. Bend the bracket to one side to access the screws for the starter
motor.
