Preparatory work
Remove the wheel spindle. See: Wheel knuckle front See: Steering/Front Steering Knuckle/Service and Repair.
Removal
Removing wheel bearings
Secure the wheel knuckle in a hydraulic press. Use socket: 999 7090 Press tool See: Tools and Equipment/999 7090 Press tool and drift: 999 1801
STANDARD SHAFT See: Tools and Equipment/999 1801 Standard Shaft with: 999 5137 PUNCH See: Tools and Equipment/999 5137 Punch.
Press out the bearing.
